SMRT, SBS Transit to Reduce Fares from 1 April

SMRT and SBS Transit will reduce their fares from 1 April 2009.
The new fares will be implemented till June 30th next year.
2 cents cheaper is what the commuters will get.
On top of that, the transfer rebate is revised from 40 cents to 50 cents.
